জিওডেসি কী (What is Geodesy) Geodesy হল এমন এক প্রকার বিজ্ঞান যা পৃথিবীর পৃষ্ঠতলের ওপর সঠিক ও নিখুঁত পরিমাণের পদ্ধতি বা উপাদন এবং যার দ্বারা পৃথিবীর ওপর অবস্থিত কোন অবস্থানের সঠিক অবস্থান পৃথিবীর মাধ্যাকর্ষণ ক্ষেত্র সহযোগে নির্ণয় বা হয়। ইহা পৃথিবীর আকার ও আয়তন সম্পর্কেও আমাদের ধারণা দেয়। সুতরাং Geodesy-কে নিম্নরূপ সংজ্ঞায়িত করা যেয়ে পারে- Geodesy is the science which deals with the method of precise measurement elements the Earth surface of Earth and determines precise position on the Earth surface including gravi field of the Earth. It also deals with the theory of size & shape of the Earth. জিওডেসির প্রয়োগ তত্ত্ব (Application of Geodesy) Geodesy-এর ব্যবহার বহুল বিস্তৃত। যেমন- (i) ভৌগোলিক মানচিত্র উপস্থাপনে (Geographic Mapping) (ii) সীমানা নির্ণয়ে (Boundary Demarkation) (iii) শহরাঞ্চলের উন্নতিকল্পে (Urban Development) (iv) বিভিন্ন Engeneering Project-এ (v) Cadastre (যা মৌজা ম্যাপে ব্যবহৃত হয়) (vi) মৌজাম্যাপে, যেখানে অভিক্ষেপ (Projection) ব্যবহৃত হয়। জিওডেসির ব্যবহার (Uses of Geodesy): Geodes…
